In the Victorian market, salaries across the board have remained largely consistent during the past 12 months. To attract new talent into their operations, leading Victorian travel employers are taking an out of the box approach to salary packaging, whilst at the same time providing unique approaches to flexible working. Differentiating yourself has never been more important in the race to attract and retain quality staff.
Trends we will continue to see dominating the VIC market include the rise of the mobile travel agent and increasing competition amongst brands to secure the best agents and capture market share. Incentives, attractive commission schemes and access to the best pricing and products continue to lure agents away from bricks and mortar retail travel stores.
