I have 14 years recruitment experience and over the past 10 years, I have been a trusted resource and advisor (specifically in the travel and hospitality sectors) to both job-seekers and multi-national companies, who have realised significant improvements in staff acquisition, staff retention and staff performance. Within the arena, I have supplied staff and leadership-coaching and training to a number of big-bang-brands including; HRG Rennies Travel, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, American Express Travel, BCD Travel, O&L Leisure, Wilderness Safaris, KLM.

Building strong relationships, understanding the market and what clients and candidates need and want and grasping what my competitors are up to has enabled more innovative thinking, robust strategic goal-setting and better implementation plans…

With a varied career spanning more than 20 years in progressively dynamic and challenging management positions, I have succeeded in living my passions through my work; i.e. from owning a baking business and later a restaurant, to PR, sales and marketing in print and electronic media (and… hosting a Travel Chat Show on a Jazz radio station), to tour guiding / tour operating / tour brokering and, sales and marketing of Southern and East African safari packages and lodges, to working in recruitment as a generalist, and later owning and managing a business consulting, recruitment, training and HR organisation...

In a nutshell… I am a business coach, career coach, career profiler, resume writer, training programme writer, training facilitator, content writer, adventurous traveller, passionate foodie, entertainer extraordinaire and a ‘head-over-heels’ animal lover!
