The Role

A rare opportunity to work for an prestigious Trade exhibition & conferences organiser. In this role you will be responsible for Visitor Recruitment and Administration support for two large scale Travel & Hospitality events:

  • Assist the Portfolio lead by identifying and building potential buyer databases and ensuring the database’s information is accurate
  • Research and identify key VIP buyers most appropriate for large scale events 
  • Pre-show, build rapport with the VIP buyers by maintaining contact, driving key visitor communications and generally promoting the commercial value of the show and its content to the visitor base.  
  • On site, manage the buyers by being the go to person for information and direction. 
  • Ensure that all exhibitor contracts are recorded and entered into the system once the Sales Executive has finalised the sale with the exhibitor
  • Assist and share responsibility of producing the event show guides, seminar programs  
  • Liaise with the Sales Team and Accounts Team to ensure orders and invoicing process is managed effectively
  • General administrative and event production activities;

Skills & Experience

  • Have minimum 3 years relevant professional experience;
  • Strong communicator with a really good attitude;
  • Someone who can work under pressure and think on their feet;
  • Be accurate, careful and methodical in work output with attention to detail;
  • Have proven skills in working to deadlines, prioritising and multi-tasking;
  • Be able to communicate effectively and be comfortable dealing with stakeholders at senior manager level;
  • Motivation to achieve individual and team results; and enjoy working in a small team and contributing to the joint success.
  • Have intermediate/advanced MS office and database skills (EventsAir experience a distinct advantage);
