This is an excellent opportunity for a luxury housekeeping manager to take it to the next level at this fabulous new hotel. You need to have the background from luxury international hotels only to be considered and must be in a similar role for at least 4 years within the Middle East.

 

Position Summary

Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee housekeeping functions and staff on day to day operations such as to ensure hotel rooms, public space and employee areas are well kept and maintained. Aims and coordinate with team to execute all housekeeping operations. Show importance to inspect areas of responsibilities and constantly follow up to improve.

 

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures
  • Ensure guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met
  • Establish and maintain inventory stock and ensure adequate supplies
  • Manage all employees with proper equipment, supplies and uniform
  • Examine all fixtures, fitting and appliances to ensure compliance to standards
  • Taking necessary actions to follow standard 
  • Ensure team members have updated knowledge of all room categories and amenities • Manage and coordinate with schedules during business demands and record employees time and attendance
  • Recruit, supervise and train the housekeeping/ laundry team
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary

 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent
  • At least 2 years’ experience in supervisory leader within housekeeping department 
  • International luxury hotels background in the Middle East
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills speak fluent English
  • Attention to details, calm under pressure and professional with high grooming
  • Honest, self-motivated, pleasant personality and ability to work as a team
